From Palafrugell, we will approach the neighboring town of Mont-ras, from which we will go down to the Aubi plain, a place away from the main roads and that preserves its rural identity. Many of the scattered farmhouses that make up the neighborhoods of Ermedàs and Santa Margarida are fortified to defend themselves from the continuous pirate attacks that hit the Catalan coast between the s. XV and XVII. Currently, we can approach the coast without any type of danger and we can visit the fishing villages of Calella and Llafranc and return, along a gentle slope, to the starting point.
