The Golf de Pals, built in an immense pine forest in front of the white sand beach of Pals, is the oldest course on the Costa Brava.
Designed by the British FW Hawtree, it is a course capable of enthusing all types of players from the least experienced to the most experienced.
The first holes are rather short, with narrow fairways, light doglegs, very deep bunkers protecting the greens and century-old pine trees that surround the fairways, they require a game of great precision.
From hole 12 the holes are longer and more continental in style. The fairways are wider and the greens are more generous.
The course with five par 5s, new par 4 and four par 3 is one of the few par 73 courses in Catalonia.
During the 50 years of history, numerous professional and amateur tournaments have been held at Golf de Pals at national and European level.
It should be noted that the Professional European Circuit was born in Golf de Pals in 1972 with the celebration of the XLVI Open of Spain.
